The First Descendant’s Enduring Legacy weapon is often in the discussion for the best guns in the game. It packs solid stats, was recently buffed, and has a really powerful unique ability if you’re in the market to deal fire damage. While it’s not the most powerful gun in the entire game, it’s certainly worth having in your collection. If you want to know how to arrange this gun’s modules to be devastating in combat, look no further.
People often say that the Tamer is the best gun you can equip, but more and more people are starting to look to Enduring Legacy. If you’ve got Enduring Legacy and want to properly kit it out, we’re here to help.

Best Enduring Legacy modules in The First Descendant
Enduring Legacy takes a little bit of a grind in The First Descendant, but it’s worth building. Once you’ve wrapped it up and created it, you must put the right Weapon Modules on it. When considering modules and stats alike, focus on Crit and Weak Point Damage.
- Mental Focus
- Rifling Reinforcement
- Concentration Priority
- Better Concentration
- Action and Reaction
- Better Insight
- Expand Weapon Charge
- Fire Rate UP
- Weak Point Sight
For the final slot, I’d put some form of Reload Weapon Module or perhaps Fire Damage. It would work well, especially if you’re playing as Blair and all of his amazing fire damage. When you’re reworking your stats in Weapon Adjustment, focus on Crit and Weak Point damage.
With the increase to Critical Hit Damage that Enduring Legacy received in the latest hotfix (up to 2.3x, from 1.7x), this gun has a real chance to enter the meta. If you’ve had one lying around, it’s time to put it to use.

Enduring Legacy has a remarkably strong Unique Ability, if you’re a fan of Status Effects. When you hit an enemy, it increases the Status Effect Trigger Rate that corresponds to that element (Fire/Chill/Electric/Toxic) and also adds the debuff Quenching to the enemy hit.
When you hit a Burned enemy, it increases the Firearm ATK and applies this buff to the attack. If you’re playing a character that relies heavily on Fire damage, this will be a very fun weapon to have. Quenching reduces Fire Resistance for every stack you put on an enemy. You can use this to reduce Fire resistance to almost nothing, and deal hundreds of thousands of damage with little effort.
