The First Descendant features a wide variety of skins for its playable characters. Being a free-to-play game, it's not surprising that this title motivates players to make in-game purchases by spending real-life money on micro-transactions. Skins and other cosmetics are the main aspects of this business model. While most are unlocked immediately upon purchase, some special skins can be evolved after acquisition.

To evolve skins in The First Descendant, you must complete mission requirements that can be viewed in the Evolution Info on the skin menu.

Currently, the game has a single Evolve skin, and it's for their most popular character, Bunny. You can unlock this skin by purchasing it through the Store. Simply go to the Event Skin tab in the store menu and locate Bunny's Speedy Awakened One Set, which costs 1,900 Caliber to unlock.

Once unlocked, you can view it in the Descendant's Skin menu. Here, you'll see that there are three stages to this skin. This means that in addition to the base form, there are two forms you can unlock. While the second form is a palette change compared to the base form, the skin's final form is very different from the previous forms.

To unlock these forms, you must complete Evolve skin missions, which require you to kill enemies using Bunny's abilities, aka Skill Kills. The second form can be unlocked by achieving 50,000 kills using Bunny's skills, and the third is unlocked when you reach 100,000. You can keep track of the kills by visiting the Descendant's Skins menu. Also, keep in mind the kills won't count if you use any transcendent mods.

These numbers may seem incredibly high, but they used to be much higher. Previously, you needed 125,000 electrocutions and 50,000 skill kills for each of the forms. Thankfully, the numbers were made quite manageable in a recent update.
