The First Descendant: How to farm Advanced Neural Circuits

In The First Descendant, you'll soon want to farm a lot of Advanced Neural Circuits. This basic resource only drops from Elite monsters in some specific areas, and you'll need it to craft Crystallization Catalysts. This happens to be a critical progression item to improve any weapon or Descendant, so a great amount of Advanced Neural Circuits is required down the line.

Below, we have detailed how to get Advanced Neural Circuits in The First Descendant.

Best Advanced Neural Circuits farming spot in The First Descendant

The best way to farm a lot of Advanced Neural Circuits in The First Descendant is by completing The Triumphal Arc mission in White-Night Gulch (The Mountaintops). Specifically, the Elite Predator that spawns at the end of this mission drops 3x Advanced Neural Circuits.

This mission can be easily done within two minutes with a high-range mobbing Bunny or Valby build in The First Descendant. Solo or Public mode makes no difference in farming efficiency since the targeted resource is only dropped by the Elite Predator unit.

Once done, hold down F2 and press R (PC Keybinds) to restart the mission immediately. It's good to farm up 30-40 at a go because you will need a lot of Advanced Neural Circuits over time in The First Descendant.

Note that this is not the only mission where you can get this resource. Advanced Neural Circuits drop in all White-Night Gulch missions where Elite Predators can spawn. In our experience, The Triumphal Arc mission was simply the best in terms of farm efficiency.

You can also farm the mission in Hard Mode (unlocked by beating the campaign). This still results in the Predator only dropping 3x Advanced Neural Circuits per run, but you get the Legendary Reactor drops as a bonus. Some Elite monsters here can also drop Cooling Metalic Foil, another resource you need a lot of.
