The First Descendant: How to farm Superfluid

If you want the best possible equipment in The First Descendant, you need Superfluid. It’s used in crafting a wide assortment of blueprint parts from weapons to Ultimate Descendant blueprints. It’s something you’re simply going to need quite a lot of as you play, but thankfully, it’s not hard to find if you know where to look. Unfortunately, you may have to wait to begin farming, because it’s found in a specific zone.

If you’re trying to unlock Ultimate Bunny without spending money, or Ultimate Viessa, you’re going to need Superfluid in The First Descendant. For example, crafting Ultimate Bunny is going to cost you 1,285 Superfluid, which could take quite a long time to farm up. If you’re stuck on where to find it, we’re here to help.

Best Superfluid farm in The First Descendant

The best place to farm Superfluid in The First Descendant is easily The Sterile Land. It’s a grind you can do easily and mindlessly. Just push through the specific zone, pick up the Resource/Munitions boxes, and move on. It’s also worth noting that you can also farm Metal Accelerant here, which is also needed to craft a few Ultimate Descendants.

Head to Ironworks Outposts in Sterile Land. It feels like you just run in a straight line, and you can reset it and do it again. Make sure to scan as you run through in case other resource boxes pop up in different locations. It’s also recommended to use Bunny because she’s incredibly fast and efficient at getting around. You could go deeper into the Outposts, but once you’ve picked up the first five munitions boxes, you can reset out and do it again, just for speed.

This area also doesn’t feature a ton of combat, which is very nice. Then, when you’ve gathered all the Munitions, travel back to Albion, come back, and do it again. The great thing about this grind is that you pick up both in the same run and can repeatedly do it without paying much attention. An hour or two of farming should set you up for as much as you need.

You tend to scoop up around 110 or so Superfluid a pickup, and the same goes for Metal Accelerant. There are likely other places you can farm Superfluid in The First Descendant, but it’s unlikely that they will be as easy as this particular route.

You just run through this little area in the Outposts, grab the first five Munitions boxes, reset back to Albion, and dive back in. You can find Superfluid in other places in this region if you want to change things up. One good example is the Classified Area in Sterile Lands.
