You can acquire the Vestigial Organ fairly early in the game if you don't mind the grind.

Follow these steps:

1. Travel to the arid landscape of the Agna Desert.
2. Locate the specific mission called "Miragestone: Vulgus Strategic Outpost" within the Agna Desert area.
3. This plays out like any Vulgus Outpost, and you’ll need to stand your ground against level 53 monsters. Once you beat it, the mission has a 50% chance of rewarding you with the Vestigial Organ.
4. The Outpost mission is not the only source of this weapon, as it has a chance to drop from any Elite monster while you’re clearing out Agna Desert missions. Note, that the Vestigial Organ will drop at a level appropriate for the region, which determines its firearm ATK stat.
