Weapon Readjustment in The First Descendant allows you to modify the affixes on Rare or Ultimate weapons. In a looter shooter, grinding for the perfect build with optimal stats is a core part of the gameplay loop. However, this can be time-consuming because, in addition to obtaining your desired weapon, you have to get the ideal set of affixes that suit your build, all with high rolls.

Acquiring this perfect weapon involves multiple layers of RNG, and Weapon Readjustment is an excellent mechanic that significantly reduces the grind.

This guide covers everything you need to know about the Weapon Readjustment mechanic in The First Descendant, including how to modify your weapon affixes.

As mentioned, Weapon Readjustment allows you to reroll the affixes of Rare or Ultimate weapons in The First Descendant. Among the numerous affixes available in the game, a weapon can have four random ones with values within a specific range. For example, a Firearm ATK affix can boost your attack by 3.1% to 5.3%.

While some affixes are more beneficial for your build than others, obtaining them with high rolls on your desired weapon requires a lot of luck. However, with Weapon Readjustment in The First Descendant, you can reroll the affixes using Readjustment Materials. This doesn't let you choose the specific affix you want but replaces the old ones with random new affixes.

Although this might still feel grindy, as you have to farm the Readjustment Materials and rely on luck for the affixes, the Weapon Readjustment mechanic allows you to lock up to three existing affixes that you don't want to change.

This costs more Gold and materials, depending on the number of locked affixes. However, you don't have to worry about losing a 'God Roll' while rerolling the remaining affixes.

How to use Weapon Readjustment in The First Descendant

You can access Weapon Readjustment in The First Descendant at the Workbench in Albion after reaching Mastery Rank 4. Here, you can select your desired weapon, lock the affixes you don’t want to change, and reroll the rest.
