Contract Coins are an important currency in Throne and Liberty. You can use them to buy a wealth of items, from powerful gear to other useful resources. However, it’s going to take a while for players to even gain access to them. In fact, you cannot purchase anything with them until you’ve hit Chapter 3 of the main story quest. That said, it may not always be clear what to do with them, much less how to accrue a good amount of this currency as you play through Amazon Games’ new free-to-play MMO.

For example, if you want to take part in the fishing lifestyle, you can purchase both Rod and Bait from a Contract Coins merchant in Throne and Liberty. The real question is, how do you efficiently take part in farming them? Here’s what works best for us.

There’s only one way to farm Contract Coins in Throne and Liberty - completing contracts. However, there’s a little more nuance to it, if you want to farm them efficiently. Simply picking whichever contracts you have available in the village you’re at is fine, but it may not always be the fastest route. Another bit of useful information is that you get more Contract Coins per level 1 mission, depending on the village from which you’ve accepted it:

  • Starlight Observatory Ruins: 15 coins
  • Vienta Village: 22 coins
  • Sanctuary Oasis: 28 coins
  • Purelight Tower: 30 coins
  • Watcher’s Post: 30 coins
  • Herba Village: 33 coins

Of course, higher level missions give you greater rewards, when it comes to Contract Coins in Throne and LIberty. The smartest way to farm is to pick the easiest missions - the objectives will be in green, as you can see above.

However, you may not always have a green objective. In that case, you’ll want to shuffle them around. You can only shuffle the contracts once you’ve accepted one, so pick the one that looks easiest, then shuffle.

You don’t have to return to the contract dealer to turn them in, so if you can pick a few that are right in the same area - such as killing types of goblins - these can be done in a batch, and you’ll pick up a nice amount of coins, alongside other useful rewards for this free-to-play MMO.

With enough time and effort, you can pick up some truly remarkable items from the Contract Coin merchants - Epic gear, or Growthstones to improve weapons and armor. While the most efficient method is to do easy missions, doing groups of challenging missions in one spot is also great as you can farm exp and Contract Coins.
