Throne and Liberty Adentus is one of many boss monsters that are available in the open-world playable arena. Every boss in this game features some unique mechanics and drops exclusive loot when defeated, so it is usually a hotspot for high-level players and guilds. However, it is best to be wary of the attacks and patterns of such creatures before diving into the battle.
The Throne and Liberty Adentus boss is quite sturdy and has a few special moves that could hinder the squad’s progress while defeating it. Fortunately, boss fights generally give generous rewards and are the perfect incentive for the player base to participate in an unending conquest.
How to defeat Adentus in Throne and Liberty
The Throne and Liberty Adentus boss is a high-level creature. It is recommended that only players with a higher rank than the boss should form a squad or be dispatched from guilds to fight the monster.

That said, you can find the Throne and Liberty Adentus boss monster toward the south of the Waypoint present in the Ruins of Turayne. From there, you would need to use the stairs and grapple to get to the boss fight arena.
Here is a list of all the attacks that Adentus performs in Throne and Liberty:
- The boss shouts the keyword “Overrun” and casts an attack that is telegraphed with three green lines on the ground. Adentus smashes the ground with the hammer thrice and causes the highlighted area to dish out damage. Any player caught in this attack receives some damage but is affected by the Stunned debuff temporarily.
- Adentus performs another attack with the same keyword that casts yellow circles on the ground. This is comparatively faster than the first attack and causes all the highlighted circles to explode. It inflicts quite a bit of damage and Knocks players up in the air.
- The boss also casts a special attack where Adentus uses a chain to pull players inward. This is an AOE (Area of Effect) attack and can be dodged with ease by moving out of the highlighted area in the arena.

Adentus can cast arena-wide spells that can Stun all players. So the squad's Tanks need to hold the boss monster’s aggro at all times. This will provide the damage dealers enough time to chip away at Adentus’ health pool and eventually defeat it.

Players can also choose to join the arena by gliding over from the Purelight Hill region and landing on higher ground. This is a good vantage point for dishing out long-range attacks and damaging the boss, essentially acting as the team's snipers.
The group should be prepared to take damage, so they should carry recovery items. It is always beneficial to have excess resources when challenging boss monsters to ensure that you can finish the fight and emerge victorious.
