Throne and Liberty Aridus is a Field boss monster of Level 50 and spawns inside Syleus’s Abyss dungeon. It is a strong opponent as the boss can cast status debuffs on the entire arena that can result in instant death if not countered properly. This makes Aridus one of the stronger opponents in Solisium and one that must be eliminated with the help of a strategically sound team. Fortunately, the boss only has a few tricks that are repeated so you can get used to them with some time.

How to defeat Aridus boss in Throne and Liberty
Throne and Liberty's Aridus mostly deals wide area-based damage and debuffs with a limited number of spells. Your team needs to be wary of the Sleep skill that temporarily affects all players on the platform with the Slept effect. During this time, players being attacked by the wasps are the first to wake up after taking area damage from the creatures.
If you are targeted by one of the wasps, run around and help others wake up with the wasp damage starting from the outer circle. The ones in the inner circle are safe from instant death at first; the outer ones must be woken up so they can move to the inner area.

Combine ranged and melee attacks during the gaps to deal damage to the monster. The wasps should not be killed as it is the only way to remove the Slept status. So it is important to keep a few healers around to help the ones being attacked by the waps recover health during the fight.
Repeating the process of waking up the team with wasps and attacking in between Aridus’s attacks can take a bit of time but will help the squad emerge victorious.
Throne and Liberty Aridus boss mechanics: Attack pattern and special moves to look out for
Throne and Liberty Aridus does not have any Fury Attacks but can make use of area abilities that can disorient your squad in the arena. The boss monster generally attacks with a Green Gass line and a cone of the same material to inflict heavy damage. The attacks are not directly indicated, so you must watch for the boss’s movement before casting both spells.
Sleep is this monster's signature ability. This spell can instantly put all players on the platform under the Slept status. Once this happens, the players being attacked by wasps are woken up first and share the responsibility to wake others with wasp AoE (Area of Effect) damage.
All players that remain on the outer ring while being affected with Slept status are immediately killed. The ones in the inner circle are safe from death but can take damage.
