Cornelius in Throne and Liberty is a high-level boss monster who resides in Syleus’s Abyss dungeon. It has a massive build and can easily scare off unprepared players as the boss towers over player characters. This creature has a set of different abilities and a powerful weapon that it brandishes with pride to attack anyone in the fighting arena. How to defeat Cornelius in Throne and Liberty

Cornelius in Throne and Liberty needs to be fought with a team. This is primarily because the monster is capable of dishing out massive damage numbers with different skills. A sword spin attack deals large area damage and needs to be evaded or blocked. During this ability, try to take as little damage as possible and launch ranged attacks once it comes to a halt.

The boss can also randomly select players on the battlefield to receive an explosion debuff. If you're marked with red, your character will cause a big explosion that can damage nearby allies. For blue markers, the character will spawn smaller explosions around them. Whenever this spell is cast, keep away from the marked players and ensure that the rest of the squad remains healthy.

Keep a look out for the ground when it becomes marked with red. This means the boss is going to launch a wave attack. Clear out of this region and attack the boss from the other side to chip away at its health pool.

Cornelius in Throne and Liberty can also attack players with a large AoE (Area of Effect) attack as its Fury ability. This can be spotted easily with the purple indicator. You need to dodge this attack and immediately fight the monster to weaken it before it can cast another skill.

The blue-marked players spawn five smaller explosives that explode after a delay. If you're marked by any color, move out of range from the team and isolate the incoming damage.
