Throne and Liberty’s Enchanting system is a great way to increase the overall power of your gear. This will however take time, money, and other materials, but it’s worth investing time in nonetheless. You will learn about this system very early in the main quest of the MMO, but there’s more to it than simply putting down money and upgrading gear. You’ll need the right types of Growthstones (and the proper amount) alongside Sollant. But if you do this, you can make some truly exceptional equipment.

Whether you play on consoles or PC, Throne and Liberty’s Enchanting system is an important one to keep an eye on. You won’t want to upgrade every single piece of gear - that’s just a waste of valuable resources. But if you want to know more about it, we’re here to help.

How to use the Enchanting system in Throne and Liberty

By selecting the Equipment Enchantment Menu in Throne and Liberty, you can take part in the Enchanting system. There are three tabs: Level Up, Transfer, and Trait. Today, we’re focusing on Level Up and Transfer. By selecting the Level Up tab, you can take the gear you’re equipped with and interact with it, which will take you to its upgrade screen. You’ll see the amount of Sollant (money) and Growthstones you need to improve the gear.

The Growthstones required will match the current quality of the gear. However, like many free-to-play games, simply using Throne and Liberty’s Enchanting system doesn’t guarantee a level-up each time. It may take a few tries, but you are guaranteed progress. So at least there’s no fear of failure. You could, however, get lucky and hit 100% of the required exp to level up - it’s all down to RNG. Each type of Growthstone has a percentage chance to grow a certain amount:

Common: 40% chance for 35% progress.
Intermediate: 30% chance for 40% progress.
Greater: 20% chance for 60% progress.
Special: 10% chance for 100% progress.

It can be frustrating to find Growstones, but it’s worth noting that you can also craft them in Throne and Liberty, taking some of the sting out of the Enchanting system. This takes an assortment of materials, but you can find them in the Weapons or Armor section of your crafting screen. In addition, each equipment grade/rarity has its own maximum level that it can be enhanced to:

Uncommon: 6
Rare: 9
Epic: 12

You can also use the Transfer system, which is another facet of this Enchanting system. A piece of gear at a lower rarity with a higher equipment level can be much better than rarer gear that hasn’t been leveled up.

With that in mind, you can use the Transfer system to transfer that exp to the rarer gear, to make it more viable. 100% of the item’s experience points get transferred over, as well.
