Throne and Liberty’s Exploration Codex Escape the Abyss can be pretty harrowing if you don’t know exactly what to do. The quest is a little vague, but thankfully, it’s not too complicated. However, we recommend that whenever you tackle this, you either do it in a group or as a level 50 character that’s decently geared. There are many powerful enemies in this zone, so you’ll want to exercise caution.

Escape the Abyss Codex takes place in Throne and Liberty’s Syleus’s Abyss zone, which is a place where you can farm Abyssal Aggregate - though on much deeper floors than where you go for this quest. If this quest is confusing you, we’re here to help you progress. Here’s what you need to do.

How to complete Throne and Liberty Escape the Abyss Codex

You can begin the objectives of Throne and Liberty’s Escape the Abyss Codex on Floor 3 of Syleus’s Abyss. You have three main objectives: Destroy a Spirit Armor, Defeat a Wandering Soul Arbiter, and Obtain a Collection Page. Two of these are incredibly simple. It’s the second step that tends to puzzle players as they dive into this MMORPG.

While you don’t have to use one of the most powerful DPS builds in the game to complete this exploration quest, being level 50 with strong gear sure can’t hurt your chances of success. Once you enter the first room of the third floor of Syleus’s Abyss, you should see several Spirit Armors lying around.

Be careful of the other enemies who may be lurking. Target one of the Spirit Armors and attack it until its HP runs out. The next step requires you to attack a Spirit Armor, but get it down to just 50% or less HP, and let the Wandering Soul possess it. This will make it transform into a Wandering Soul Arbiter.

The hardest part is waiting for the Wandering Soul to get there and possess the armor. You may have to fight other enemies at the same time, so a partner or two would certainly make things easier. Defeat it, and that completes the next step of Escape the Abyss Codex in Throne and Liberty.

Finally, you need the Collection Page. Just head to the location on the image above, and interact with the little glowing purple item on the ground. Success will grant you 82,652 Sollant, Rare Active Skill Growth Book x4, Rare Passive SKill Growth Book x4, and Quality Stellarite x100.
