The Eye that Desires Magic in Throne and Liberty is an Exploration quest. It is a fairly simple mission that demands the completion of three primary objectives. Like most exploration quests, you will need to collect a few items and defeat specific enemies to complete all the tasks. Once all the conditions are met, the Codex will be marked as complete and you can claim the rewards.

How to complete Eye that Desires Magic in Throne and Liberty

The Eye that Desires Magic quest can be found in the Exploration category in the Codex. You can access this mission by heading over to the Stonegard drop-down on the left and clicking on the Manawastes section. Scroll down again till you reach the quest.

That said, here are the objectives for this mission:

Defeat Evil Eye Sentry.
Collect a Collection Codex page at Manawastes.
Collect the Ancient Script Lithograph near where Malakar appears.

Here is a quick overview of how to easily complete the Eye that Desires Magic in Throne and Liberty:

Defeat Evil Eye Sentry

Travel to the quest region first where you can spot a lot of Evil Eyes on the ground. However, these are not the monsters that you need to fight for the quest. Check your map for small blue circles as they mark the location of the Evil Eye Sentry. You can identify these creatures as they look similar to the normal ones but are considerably bigger.

Eliminating this monster is quite straightforward as well. Simply hit it with your most damaging spell repeatedly while avoiding incoming attacks. At times, smaller creatures from around the place will gather to attack you. In such a scenario, it is best to kill them first.

Repeat this process and you will eliminate the Evil Eye Sentry. This will mark the first objective as completed.

Collection Codex page at Manawastes

This objective does not place a marker on the map, so you would need to investigate the area yourself. However, there are a few places that will contain Mysterious Notes scattered on the ground which you can interact and pick up. The easiest way to get one of these items is to head over to the Manawaste Waypoint.

From here, you can travel to the North and find a large structure in front of you. You can use the grappling hook and climb this structure. Once on top, you can grapple on the hooks present on the right side again to go further. You will find a Mysterious Note on the left side of the staircase in this location beside the rocks.

Collect this item by interacting with it to mark the second objective as completed. This means that there is only one more task left for the mission to be complete.

Ancient Script Lithograph

Collecting the Ancient Script Lithograph for Eye that Desires Magic in Throne and Liberty is quite easy. This is because the locations will be marked on the map with a circle. Follow these markers and head toward a region that will contain some monsters that you can choose to fight. However, simply ignore them and explore the place.

The area will also feature some icons that will point you toward the correct place where you can get the last item. Once you find the Ancient Lithograph, interact with it and pick it up to complete the final objective.

This will mark the entire Eye that Desires Magic in Throne and Liberty as completed.
