Throne and Liberty is all set for a full global release on October 1, 2024. Following NCSoft's latest tab-targeting MMORPG, this title has already been out in Korea since last year. The global release is only a new beginning for Western players, some of whom got an early taste with the several open betas throughout the year.

Originally planned to go live on September 17, the new global launch date has since been delayed to October, which will follow a five-day Early Access phase. This article explores the latest updates on the Throne and Liberty global release date and the kind of game it is.

Throne and Liberty will be fully playable on both PC and consoles upon its global release. The Korean version is already available for PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S. The tab-targeting nature of the combat also makes it easy to access on a controller.

However, it will not be made available on old-gen consoles, such as the PS4 or Xbox One.

The game will have full crossplay between PC and consoles, and you will be able to join a Guild for players from all platforms. The cross-platform features offered by Throne and Liberty will be available on day one of the global release, as the finer technicalities have already been ironed out in the Korean build.

Throne and Liberty is a traditional MMORPG with a focus on group content and Guild warfare. There are many avenues for PvP Multiplayer in Throne and Liberty, including a cross-server PvP event that can get you Lucent, the game's cash shop currency.

Speaking of the cash shop currency, Throne and Liberty is free-to-play with in-app purchases. In the Korean release, the monetization can qualify for the pay-to-win category, and it may not necessarily change with Amazon Games at the front for the Western release.
