How to access the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon Boss in Purelight Hill
There are two ways to access Grand Aelon in Throne and Liberty. The first method is simply strolling into Purelight Hill. Since it is an open-world boss, you can access the area anywhere.
Remember that since Grand Aelon is a Level 50 boss, you may want to consider not attempting a solo run. Given that their HP is rather on the high side, bringing friends or teaming up with strangers would be the best option.
The other way to gain access to Grand Aelon is through the Guild Raid mechanic. Once your Guild reaches Level 17, the option to take on this boss will unlock. Guild members who are far more powerful than you can then assist you in bringing down this boss with ease. It will function like a Raid but limited only to those that are part of the Guild.

How to defeat the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon boss in Purelight Hill
Unlike other high-level bosses in Throne and Liberty, Grand Aelon is not very powerful in terms of dealing damage and having over-the-top mechanics. All in all, this boss only has three attack mechanics you'll have to learn to anticipate and dodge/block. Here's a brief rundown of each attack and how to deal with it:
- Fury Attack: Almost all bosses in Throne and Liberty have this attack in some form. They can be melee or ranged and either focus on a single target or deal AoE damage. In the case of the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon boss, the Fury Attack is in the form of an AoE shockwave. There is no way to dodge this attack, so be alert and block it in time, or face the consequences of sustaining massive damage mid-fight.
- Ground Spikes: With the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon Boss being a Treant of some kind, it is pretty obvious that they can tap into the power of nature itself. As such, one of the boss' abilities allows them to raise spikes or sharp roots from the ground. An indicator will showcase where these will rise from, which will give you time to dodge the attack. Just remember to move sideways and not back as the spikes can extend quite some distance.
- Tree Prison: The last ability the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon boss can use locks players in a prison made of roots. While in this prison, you will not be able to move and will sustain DPS over time. Unfortunately, the only way to be freed is to have your teammates bust you out of this prison and set you free. You can then resume the onslaught on the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon boss.
As long as you work together as a team and free players who have been trapped in prison, the fight should be easy. Despite the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon boss being a Level 50 entity, it's easy to defeat with good coordination. Since you will likely be taking on this boss with your Guild, you should have plenty of time to strategize and plan. Remember to get a good Healer, and use Cooking Recipes in Throne and Liberty to add buffs to your character.

To summarize: Defeating the Throne and Liberty Grand Aelon boss in Purelight Hill
Block the Fury Attack to avoid taking AoE damage, and dodge the Ground Spikes when you see the conical indicator pop up on the screen. This should let you avoid most of the damage during the boss fight. Lastly, if you spot imprisoned teammates, attack the prison to free them. If you're imprisoned, coordinate with your team and be vocal about needing assistance.
