A trait in Throne and Liberty is a type of booster that is added to your gear to improve your character stats. Buying extracted traits from the in-game auction house is a way to unlock new traits, which can then be used as tradeable tokens or Extracts. You can use these traits to either equip yourself or sell them to other players.
In this article, we will talk about how you can extract a trait from your equipment in this free-to-play guild-focused MMORPG.
How to extract trait in Throne and Liberty
In order to extract a trait from your equipment, you will need Trait Extraction Stones. You can get these stones in various ways, such as buying them from a Contract Coin Merchant, taking part in Dynamic Events, as rewards from the Lithograph Book, etc.
Then, you just have to select the equipment you want to extract the trait from. The Extraction Stones will be taken from your inventory, and you will need to pay a certain amount of Sollant for the extraction.
Extracting a trait would mean that you have converted an item that was untradeable into a tradable Extract. Now, you can either use it on your own equipment or sell it at the auction house.
Also, keep in mind that whatever trait you extracted can only be used on the same type of gear.

Selling traits can offer you a good option for earning Lucent if you sell it to other players through the game's auction house. The higher the quality of the trait, the more Lucent you can earn from selling it.
