In Throne and Liberty, you will receive plenty of weapons and armor as you progress through the game. While some of these items will be useful for improving your build, many will be useless to your build or playstyle, eating dust in the corners of your inventory.
However, these items can earn you some profit. In this article, we have shared four methods you can use to turn the excess items into currency or materials needed for crafting other items in Throne and Liberty.
How to deal with excess gear in Throne and Liberty?
One option is to feed the gear into the Lithograph book, which rewards you for sacrificing your item. This is a straightforward method to gain rewards and free up inventory space without much effort. You simply add the gear to an entry that requires the item in the lithograph book, claim your rewards, and move on. Alternatively, if you're looking for more profit, you can turn the gear into a lithograph itself.

A lithograph is a fantasy equivalent of an equipment blueprint that you and other players can buy and use to craft the item. For this, you will need a Blank Lithograph item that can be crafted. However, to craft it, you’ll need materials like Enchanted Ink, which can be purchased from the contract coin merchant using coins you earn by completing in-game contracts. Once you’ve gathered the materials, visit the armor crafter to craft the lithograph. You can then sell it at the auction house.
Another option is to extract traits from your gear. Every piece of equipment comes with specific traits, which can be valuable. Using Trait Extraction Stones, you can remove the trait from the item and sell it individually at the auction house. These traits are often in high demand, so depending on the trait’s value, this can be one of the best uses of unwanted gear. The extraction stones are available from the contract coin merchant but can also be earned through events and ranking rewards.
Finally, dismantling gear for Magic Powder is another effective way to use items you don’t need. Magic Powder is a crucial crafting material in Throne and Liberty, and the color of the powder you receive corresponds to the rarity of the item dismantled (green, blue, or purple). A key tip is to combine items with similar traits before dismantling them.

While dismantling one item might give you 10 Magic Powder, combining items with extra traits can significantly increase the Powder output. For each additional trait, you receive an extra 25 Magic Powder, making this a much more efficient way to dismantle gear.
