Throne and Liberty is a Korean MMO where the weapons you wield determine your character's abilities and build. If you enjoy a long-range, high DPS build, then the combination of Longbow and Crossbow is best for you. With this build, you can keep moving and never need to engage in melee combat.
This build is tailored for the PvE server, focusing mainly on damage rather than utility and healing.
Disclaimer: This build guide is based on the Korean version of Throne and Liberty and may undergo balance changes before the Global Release.
Throne and Liberty Longbow and Crossbow DPS build for PvE server
There are two primary weapons to use: Longbow and Crossbow. The longbow will be your main weapon and will equip it in your main hand. The crossbow is the secondary weapon equipped in the offhand. In Throne and Liberty, the passive abilities of the off-hand weapon stay active while you use the main hand weapon.

Defense, Attack, and Passive skills for Longbow and Crossbow build in Throne and Liberty
Defense
Looking at the stats, you may have understood that while this build is great for dealing damage, it’s not great at taking it. Attack is your defense, which is why we recommend using the Sustaining Roll defense skill of Crossbow for this build.
Sustaining Roll: You can perform an extra attack after defending against a Fury attack.

Attack
Longbow Skills:
- Zephyr's Knock: Inflicts damage that scales with distance from the target. At higher levels, you will get a bonus when shooting stunned and bound enemies. The bonus includes better damage and reduced cooldown.
- Ensnaring Arrow: Deals damage and can bind enemies.
- Decisive Sniping: A sniper shot with a long cooldown. Excels at piercing high hp opponents, instantly refreshing upon a critical strike.
- Nature's Blessing: Summons a field that heals you and your allies. Try to level it up as soon as possible as it will also restore mana once upgraded.
- Deadly Marker: Chooses an enemy as marked. You will have a high hit rate and a better crit chance when attacking it. Successful critical hits from you and allies on the market target accelerate skill cooldowns of all the party members.
- Brutal Arrow: Launches a skyward projectile that rains down on a chosen area, creating a 3m impact zone. The central 1m radius inflicts heightened damage.
Crossbow Skills:
- Quick Fire: Unleashes a trio of attacks. Upgrades increase damage against ‘weakened’ targets and partially decrease the cooldown by 10% on critical hits.
- Merciless Barrage: Dual-wields a flurry of 16 shots per hand. Individual shots have pretty low damage but if you successfully hit a target consecutively, the damage will increase. Off-hand weapon attributes can increase the number of shots up to 24 per hand.
- Mortal Mark: Deal damage to the target and apply weak, reducing the target's defensive capabilities.
- Nimble Leap: Boost attack range while you dash towards the chosen direction. Upgrades boost both movement and attack speed.
- Mana Exchange: Sacrifices a portion of HP to replenish mana.
- Thorn Gale: Temporarily augments each ranged attack with an extra projectile.
Passives
Longbow Passives
- Steady Aim: Better chance to crit on bound targets.
- Sniper's Sense: Crits improve with distance from the target.
- Roxie's Arrowhead: May fire an extra arrow, more likely when shooting in the direction of the wind.
Crossbow Passives
- Ambidexterity: Boosts off-hand weapon effectiveness.
- Eagle Vision: Accuracy improves at longer ranges.
- Crucial Chance: Weakening foes speeds up skill cooldowns. When you attack a weakened foe, the duration of all weak status inflicted by you increases.
- Nature's Power: Movement skills temporarily increase damage for six seconds.
- Piercing Strike: Flat damage increase.
As mentioned, the bulls will be focusing on dealing as much damage as possible. But due to low survivability, we recommended taking some utility skills like Nature's Blessing to ensure you stay on the battlefield long enough to deal any meaningful damage.

Rotation details for the Longbow and Crossbow build in Throne and Liberty
The Longbow and Crossbow build is very beginner-friendly. If you're new to the game and want to try a ranged build, this should be ideal for you. Follow these basic rotations for maximum output:
Nimble Leap -> Decisive Sniping
Nimble Leap is a movement skill, so it activates your Nature's Power passive, giving your most powerful attack, Decisive Sniping, a damage boost.
Ensnaring Arrow -> Nimble Leap -> Decisive Sniping
Decisive Sniping gets a crit rate boost when attacking bound enemies, so use Ensnaring Arrow, then Nimble Leap for a boost, and finally, Decisive Sniping to finish it off.
