How to complete Luring Device Mana Source quest in Throne and Liberty
As mentioned before, the Luring Device Mana Source quest takes place in the Stonegard's Sandworm Lair subzone. As a pre-emptive decision, you'll be saving a lot of time with the Ant Nest Waypoint, unlocked but it isn't necessary.
The quest starts right inside the sandworm lair, on the lowest level. You will encounter Hatchery Guard Harrison, who will give start you off. Harrison will instruct you to obtain Potent Poison Sacs from Baby Sandworms. However, these sandworms do not appear to normal players.
Therefore, you will need to shapeshift into any one of the four animals mentioned in the quest journal. For maximum toxicity, we recommend a spider, a lobster, a crab, or even an insect morph. The Baby Sandworms have practically no health and should go down in one hit. However, the others will promptly disappear once your shapeshift ends, so you will need to do this twice.
For those who are unaware or need a refresher, you can press escape to open the menu and check the Character section for your morph category. Then, you must click on the Special tab to see the Shapeshift category. Choose one of the four animals and confirm it as the designated morph to avoid repeating it after the first sandworm.
Once you have two Potent Poison Sacs and destroy a giant egg, an Enraged Chief Sandworm will spawn to avenge its fallen brethren. It's not a particularly tough fight if you have kept up with your gear progression. The Enraged Chief Sandworm uses its fury attack quite often, so you will need to block and watch your stamina bar.
Once this threat has been dealt with, you only need to talk to Hatchery Guard Harrison two more times and the quest will be complete. For all your troubles, you will be rewarded with five mana regen potions.
The Luring Device Mana Source quest is quite similar to others in Throne and Liberty where you learn a little bit more about the world and all the creatures in it.
