How to defeat Malakar in Throne and Liberty

To know how you can defeat Malakar, you must know his move sets. This boss has a range of different attacks, all of which can be dodged and parried when timed right. We urge you to take it slow and understand how he unleashes his attacks.

Malakar attacks in three phases. In his first phase, he marks a player at random and constantly targets him. In the next phase, he teleports to the player who is farthest from him and unleashes a deadly attack on the targeted player and those around him.

Lastly, in his third phase, he drags every player in the arena and starts dealing melee damage by bouncing on them. If you are caught in this mayhem, it is going to be very hard to survive.

As stated above, you have to time your attacks right and stay on your guard at all times. Jab the boss when you find openings, play defensively when he attacks, and block at the right time so that your health can sustain you for the entire fight.

Attack patterns

Ranged

Malakar has the power to dish out ranged attacks. The antagonist hurls missiles that hit the ground near the player and deal AoE damage. Depending on how close you are to the point of impact, these missiles can deal a lot of damage. So, avoiding them is your key to survival.

Melee

When you are in Malakar's melee range, he will bounce up and down to create ripples on the ground. These waves also deal AoE damage.

Wave Attack

In his second phase of attacking, Malakar teleports to the player who is farthest from him and dishes out a wave attack. This wave can stun any player that comes in contact with it and can be identified by its unique blue color in the game.
