Throne and Liberty’s Minezerok is one of the incredible field bosses players can encounter in the late game. A level 50 boss that resides in the Shadowed Crypt, won’t be easy to take down. This boss features some incredible AOE attacks, one of which can one-shot groups of players at once. Minezerok’s attacks aren’t the only thing to watch out for though - this is by nature a PVP game, so other groups may show up to try and claim the kill.

However, with a coordinated team working together, you can claim some amazing gear drops after defeating this powerful spellcaster. Like other field bosses in Throne and Liberty, Minezerok has dangerous attacks, but also great rewards. If you’re looking to fight this boss, we’re here to help.

Minezerok awaits players in Throne and Liberty on the first floor of the Shadow Crypt, but to get to him easiest, teleport to the waypoint on the third floor of the dungeon. As mentioned, this spellcasting boss has a wide range of devastating attacks, some of which can one-shot players, so it’s important to keep an eye out for what he can do.

This is a boss fight where you’ll want to tank the boss facing away from the group, especially for one of its charging abilities. If you see Minezerok charge his staff and summon a gray portal, he’s going to use a powerful blast in the shape of a cone. Stand behind the boss to avoid being hit.

You also have to keep an eye out for Expanding Lines of Black Smoke, which target players and deal a significant amount of damage. Make sure to run out of these right away in Throne and Liberty. There’s also a combo to keep an eye out for. Periodically, MInezerok will attempt to steal player’s souls. You absolutely must CC and/or defeat these before they get to the boss to prevent those players from dying.

Afterward, you’ll have to deal with a Cone Attack that can one-shot almost anyone who gets caught in it. To deal with this, have the Ranged DPS with the greatest range head off on their own in a different direction to make sure this doesn’t wipe the raid.

Additionally, be aware of Minezerok’s Fury Attack in Throne and Liberty. Keep an eye out for the Purple Fury Attack Indicator, so you can block on time. Afterward, Minezerok turns itself into a Black Hole to pull players in. Use your morph sprint to start moving away.

Ideally, you'll want to run towards the sides of the arena, so you can hook onto a chain with your grappling hook. This is important, so you avoid being one-shot by the wave of darkness that comes next. You can receive the following rewards for defeating this boss:

  • Potential Loot Drops: Minzerok's Daggers of Crippling, Swirling Essence Hat, Divine Justiciar Gloves, Blessed Templar Choker, Shadewalker Daggers, Crossbows of the Resistance, Longbow of the Resistance, Wand of Skyward Blessing, Resolute Crusader Greaves, Resolute Crusader Sabatons, Serious Wizard Glynt
  • Guaranteed Drops: Conquest Participation Award: Minezerok
