Throne and Liberty Nightmare Herald is a part of the main story quest in Chapter 10, known for its higher difficulty as it takes place in the late game. How to begin Throne and Liberty Nightmare Herald quest

Players will need to venture to the Grayclaw Forest and obtain the item called “Someone’s Journal” to start the Nightmare Herald quest. The journal will direct you to travel to the Lycan’s Hall and carry out a set of investigations. Once you step inside the Halls and complete the investigation, the Throne and Liberty Nightmare Herald quest begins.

How to complete Throne and Liberty Nightmare Herald quest

Fans can follow the steps listed below to easily complete the Nightmare Herald story mission in Throne and Liberty:

After securing the Journal, head over to the Wolf King Hill region and enter the Lycan’s Hall. Follow the directions and then steadily go to the altar downstairs. Here, you will need to talk to Clay and continue your journey in this mission.
Next, solve the Moon puzzle in Lycan’s Hall. One Moon is Yellow and the other is Blue. Both these will need to be combined by activating the center book. Selecting the correct moons will complete the puzzle.

Once done, you will encounter a similar puzzle again. You will need to activate the center book and then the opposite color to solve the entire objective. When you solve both the puzzles, you will unlock the next area which is present behind the Moon altar.
Enter this area and interact with the unconscious man to complete the first part of this mission.

You will need to get to the Shadowed Crypt area and interact with the Black Rift. Upon interacting, the rift will pull you inside where you will need to fight off a few monsters. After defeating the enemies, you will be sent back outside where you need to talk to Clay once again.
Once done, you need to get to the Purelight Tower and head over to Clay’s study. Complete all objectives that the NPC provides and fight off the monsters as required.
You will be transported to the Shattered Temple upon boarding the Gigantrite in the previous step. Find and talk to One-Eyes Hawk Henson from the resistance group.
Berge will appear and cast his gaze over the area. Avoid this and move to Temple 2 by any means. This will make you travel to Temple 1 first where you can disable Berge’s gaze. It is important to remain behind cover to avoid the gaze, as you will be turned to stone upon detection.
The path to reach the Temple 2 is quite tedious and you need to perform a few jumps and grapples to successfully reach the area. So, it's best to take it slow and get to the region after disabling Berge’s gaze.

Take down any monsters present in the area and proceed to interact with the Black Rift in front of the statue. This will teleport you to the boss fight arena where you need to fight Berge.
Once you defeat the main boss of the lair, you will be transported back to the temple. You can then find two bags that you need to pick up. Head over and talk to Lunar-0 and One-Eyed Hawk Henson on the way back.
Teleport back to the Purelight Tower and go the Clay’s study. Place down the bag at the marked location to complete this part of the quest.
Interact with Lunar-0 one last time and watch through the cinematic cutscene that explains the entire story of the world and the existence of the resistance groups. This is a massive mission and can help fans find a lot of answers related to the game's lore.
