In Throne and Liberty, players can unlock the co-op dungeons to dive into the Roaring Temple Dungeon. It is one of the most challenging dungeons and needs level 30 to unlock after the Specter’s Abyss. In the Roaring Temple, the final boss, Chimaerus, is difficult to defeat without proper guidance. Moreover, accomplishing this can reward various items that allow players to advance in this title.
Below is a guide on how to beat King Chimaerus in Throne and Liberty.
Guide to defeating Chimaerus in Throne and Liberty Roaring Temple Dungeon
There are five barriers in Roarin Temple Dungeon that you must clear to encounter King Chimaerus.
1) Eliminate all four enemies
To clear the first section, eliminate four types of enemies: Ancient Shade Wizard, Ancient Dark Shaman, Ancient Dark Assassin, and Ancient Zombie Mutt. Once the enemies are eliminated, you can easily reach the first barrier, next to the temple entrance.
2) Activate the Mana Fluid Regulators
Activating the Mana Fluid Regulator will allow water flow and let you access the next area. To do so, eliminate all the enemies protecting the Regulator, which then removes the second barrier and allows access to the next stage. In the next section, head towards the enemies and eliminate all of them who are protecting the second pit with the second Mana Fluid Regulator.

3) Eliminate the first mini-boss: Ancient Berserk Dark Enforcer
Once you reach the third barrier, the first challenge is to defeat the first mini-boss: Ancient Berserk Dark Enforcer. This enemy is strong, uses fire attacks, and has more health than other enemies.
Upon eliminating the mini-boss, the fourth barrier will be removed and a gate will appear. Use glide morph to fly over to reach the opposite side, where you will encounter more enemies.
4) Eliminate the second mini-boss: Ancient Berserk Shade Wizard
To reach the final barrier, you must defeat the second boss of the Dungeon: Ancient Berserk Shade Wizard. This mini-boss will guard the final barrier, use Fury Attacks, and spawn Ancient Zombie Mutts. Once you defeat it, you can rest at a campfire to regain health before encountering the final boss Chimaerus.
5) Eliminate King Chimaerus
Clearing all the barriers will let you fight the final boss, King Chimaerus, in a circular arena. This final boss is one of the strongest enemies you would have faced so far. It mainly uses two attacks: Fireballs and Poison fire blasts. Interestingly, a white Fury attack indicator will let you know when to take caution for these two attacks.

To deal with this, you must have a group of players with their respective roles. Players taking Tank can easily block AoE acid pools and fireballs reducing the risk of killing. However, to stop the poison fire blast attacks it is required to use the hook to activate one of the four chains to pour Mana Fluid on the boss.
The one taking Range DPS needs to focus on taking down the boss and helping others if needed. The role of Melee DPS is straightforward, to act as an off-tank support and block the fireballs. Players taking Healers need to use area heal to help other players.
It will take a few minutes to take down the final boss, and after that, your squad will be given various rewards such as unique gears, contract tokens, crafting material, and many more to further progress in Throne and Liberty.
