The Throne and Liberty Snake Tongue Flower quest is a part of Chapter 8: The Demon’s Smile. It is a fairly straightforward task where you need to gather a specific material and then interact with an NPC (Non-Playable Character) to complete the whole quest. However, gathering the required resources might be tricky for a newcomer, as there are a few prerequisites that need to be met.

All Chapter missions are linked to one another and require players to complete previous objectives to unlock the next one. These are series-linked quests that cannot be accessed directly as one would need to progress through each of them. The Demon’s Smile Chapter 8 is not any different and completing the Snake Tongue Flower quest is integral to the narrative.

How to complete Snake Tongue Flower in Throne and Liberty

The Snake Tongue Flower quest in Throne and Liberty has two simple objectives that can be completed with ease:

Contaminate and gather Crimosa using Tentacle Desert Flower Poison at The Raging Wilds.
Go to Moonlight Oasis and speak with the Creation Crafter Grudran.

Here is a quick guide that you can use to complete the Snake Tongue Flower mission in the game:

You will need to teleport to the Moonlight Desert Waypoint to begin the first objective.
Once you reach the Raging Wilds regions, you will be able to spot some purple plants growing on the ground. However, these are not in a state that you need so you will have to activate them using poison.
This is the tricky part of the mission as you will need to attack one of the hostile Tentacle Desert Flowers and let it start attacking you. These plants have a large range and spit out poison quite far. Stand directly behind the Crimosa plant so that the poison touches the plant.
Once the poison hits you and the plant, the purple plants will turn into Fully Bloomed Crimosa. This is when you need to interact with and harvest them.
Continue this process till the objective is marked as completed. Make sure to finish off the hostile plant in the vicinity after you are done with the resource collection.
After securing the Fully Bloomed Crimosa, you need to travel to the Moonlight Oasis and interact with the Creation Crafter Grudran.
This is where you will gain access to the censer that spreads the smoke and increases the intensity of the fragrance. The entire quest will be marked as completed after the conversation with the NPC ends.

It is important to note that you need to match the timing when harvesting the purple plants. Prolonged exposure to poison can drop your health to critical lows and put you in a vulnerable state where almost any high-rank monster can eliminate your character.

Another important part of this mission is the weather. Rain causes the purple plants to disappear from the region so make sure you get to the spot when it is not raining and preferably during day time for the highest visibility.

Players can get their hands on five Rare Active Skill Growth Books after completing this Chapter 8 quest. The loot reward might not be massive but can be useful when upgrading the active skills of a weapon.
