To face the Starving Giant Zombie, you must be at least Level 19. This is the minimum level required to enter Floor 3F. However, we highly recommend you grind a bit more and attempt this boss a few levels over 19. Get to 20-24 before trying to fight Starving Giant Zombie in Throne and Liberty.

The Starving Giant Zombie is a stationary boss that uses ranged attacks and AoE abilities to deal with you. The fight also introduces a special NPC named, Lost Adventurer who will assist you during the battle. The Lost Adventurer is vulnerable to damage, so your priority is to protect them while managing the various zombie spawns and the powerful attacks from the Starving Giant Zombie.

Protect the Lost Adventurer

At the start of the encounter, a Lost Adventurer will appear alongside you, who will heal and shield you throughout the fight. The adventurer is crucial to your success, as they can restore your health during the battle. However, they are also vulnerable, especially from the Zombie Summons and the Starving Giant Zombie’s Line Attack. Your priority should be to draw aggro away from them.

Defeat zombie summons

Before the Starving Giant Zombie spawns, lesser zombies will appear and walk toward the Lost Adventurer. They will explode on contact, dealing significant damage to anyone near them. Try to use ranged attacks to eliminate the lesser zombies from a distance before they can reach the adventurer. Once all the lesser zombies are dead, the Starving Giant Zombie will appear.

Boss attack patterns

The Starving Giant Zombie has several melee and ranged attacks, you will need to understand their patterns to successfully dodge them. The Starving Giant Zombie doesn't move from its spot, use this to your advantage by staying at a distance or getting up close for melee attacks.

• Fury Attack: The Zombie will occasionally use a Fury Attack, which pushes the player away and briefly stuns them. This attack can be avoided by keeping your distance and strafing around the boss.
• Line Attack: The Starving Giant Zombie will target you and fire a Line Attack that will go through the player and hit the Lost Adventurer. It is critical to keep aggro off the adventurer, as this attack can kill them in just two hits. Position yourself in a way from the adventurer and draw aggro.
• Spit Attack: The boss will wind up and launch a ranged Spit Attack at the player. Position yourself behind the Lost Adventurer, as they will place a shield to protect you from this ranged attack.
• Push Attack: The Starving Giant Zombie will use a Push Attack to send players flying a great distance. This attack has a long windup, giving you enough time to avoid it by running away from the boss.
