Disruptive error codes like 'World Server Disconnected' are among the most dreaded in MMOs like Throne and Liberty. Like any other disconnection error, it interrupts your play session and takes you back to the main menu. However, even more aggravating is what comes after the error; more often than not, this code means you will face an infinite load screen if you attempt to load back into the game.
To help in this regard, we look at some solutions to potentially fix the problem.
What causes the Throne and Liberty World Server Disconnection error?
The World Server Disconnection error explains its core problem at the outset. Throne and Liberty 'Worlds' are essentially persistent sessions where your character data and progress are created and saved. Naturally, the error implies that you have lost connection to the server.
Functionally, it can be the same as a regular server timeout. However, the World Server Disconnection error is typically not an issue with Throne and Liberty server outages or downtimes; rather, it has to do with user-end connectivity.

How to possibly fix the infinite loading screen after the Throne and Liberty World Server Disconnection error kick
To fix the infinite loading screen problem after the Throne and Liberty World Server Disconnection error, all you have to do is create an alt character in the same server region.
For example, if you're playing a character in EU Central Zarek, create one in any EU Central server world other than Zarek. On the character creation screen, click "Characters 1/2," then "Create Character."
You do not have to make much progress with this character. Simply finish the character creator process, load into the tutorial, and beat the first segment till you wake up on Starborn Island.
Then, hit the "Select Character" option from the Escape menu. Thereafter, you can switch to your original account, and the infinite loading problem will be gone.
Restarting the game also fixes this issue, although switching characters is much faster. Keep this alt on hand, and you will not have to deal with the more annoying part of the World Server Disconnection error in Throne and Liberty.
As for the actual error message, you'll know it's an issue with your connection if there are telltale signs beforehand:
- There is a lot of rubberbanding.
- You get a minute of disabled interactions other than basic movement.
- The game soft-freezes: you can move around but everything in the world, including enemies, goes static and starts idling.
If any of these problems occur, try the following:
- Restart your router.
- Flush your DNS through the Command Prompt.
- Disable/Enable your VPN or switch to a different proxy.
- Check whether there's a Firewall-level block.
These are not guaranteed fixes for the World Server Disconnected message in Throne and Liberty. Server issues are part of traditional MMO experiences like these. However, if you identify connectivity issues on your end, you can minimize them. It's also worth making alts on other server regions to see if persistent disconnections occur there, too.
