The Tigerspite is one of the oldest Legendary weapons in Destiny 2. Introduced with the Forsaken expansion, this Kinetic Auto Rifle underwent several changes in its sandbox, alongside the perk pools. After almost five years since its initial release, Bungie decided to update the perk pools to bring the weapon in line with the current sandbox.

This article lists the best perks on the updated version of the Tigerspite Auto Rifle for both PvE and PvP.

The following perks are recommended on the Tigerspite Auto Rifle for PvE:

  • Arrowhead Brake for Handling and recoil direction control
  • Appended Mag for increased magazine size
  • Overflow for reloading the weapon beyond capacity upon picking up Special or Heavy ammunition
  • Kinetic Tremors emit a shockwave after dealing sustained damage to enemies

Column four of this weapon is stacked with perks that can help you in one way or the other. You can go with Kill Clip or Frenzy for more damage during combat, alongside Demolitionist for Grenade energy, or Attrition Orbs for spawning orbs of light.

Do note that you cannot craft the Tigerspite in Destiny 2, so you must find the perks as a drop.

The following perks are recommended on the Tigerspite Auto Rifle for PvP:

  • Hammer Forged Rifling for increased Range on the weapon
  • Ricochet Rounds for increased Range and Stability
  • Fragile Focus for increased Range on the weapon with full shield active on the user
  • Kill Clip for 33% increased damage on the weapon after reloading on a kill

The aforementioned combination can easily grant you 97 Range on the weapon, with a decent balance between Stability and Accuracy. The Tigerspite is a Precision Framed weapon, so the only downside is its fire rate.

How to get Tigerspite in Destiny 2?

The Tigerspite is tied to the Dreaming City weapons loot pool. This means that any activity tied to the location can drop the weapon. Some of these activities, include Blind Well, weekly quests, Ascendant challenges, weekly bounties, and more.
