Clever and five other Trait Cards to use in Torchlight: Infinite
1) Clever
Out of all the Trait Cards to use in Torchlight: Infinite, Clever might be one of the best ones out there. It is specific to the Goddess of Hunting mode and will give you a 29% chance of gaining buffs from a Legendary Boss. If you like hunting bosses, this is a must-have.
Additionally, there is a 10% chance that the Goddess of Hunting statue will show up during the stage. If you manage to upgrade the Clever Trait Card, you will gain the chance of getting random buffs. All in all, it's a great pick.
2) Perseverance
If you're looking for Trait Cards to use in Torchlight: Infinite God of Might mode, Perseverance is a solid choice. It increases the chance of finding more valuable reward types by 68% (which is a massive boost).
It also increases the chance of encountering the God of Might statue by 10%. After upgrading the card, the chance of finding better loot will increase further. So, if you're into loot, this is one of those must-have Trait Cards to use in Torchlight: Infinite.
3) Admiring
The Admiring Trait Card increases drop quantity and drop rarity. This makes it a great choice for you if you're looking to get more gear and/or find resources that can be used to upgrade/craft your own gear from scratch.
That said, Admiring is great for early game, as it will allow you to get better gear as you naturally progress. Furthermore, it can be upgraded to increase both the percentage of drop quantity and drop rarity.
4) Recollection
If you need Trait Cards to use in Torchlight: Infinite to get additional Beacons, Recollection is the perfect option. When in use, this Trait Card will ensure bosses drop an additional Beacon. This will make it more convenient to access other levels and allow you to traverl between planes more freely. If you manage to upgrade the Recollection Trait Card, you'll earn an additional two Beacons.
5) Forthright
If you're looking for Trait Cards that will grant you better gear, Forthright should be your go-to choice. Of course, you can use certain Pactspirits to increase the odds of getting better gear, but this is the best option.
Forthright increases the odds of rare monsters dropping 6-affixed rare gear. It adds a 49% chance for them to drop two pieces of such gear. This may not seem like a lot, but in the grand scheme of things, it will aid progression quite a bit. It can also be upgraded to add a whopping 100% chance of finding 6-affixed rare gear drops from a monster.
6) Tolerant
The Tolerant Trait Card is good if you're looking to get more crafting material to craft/upgrade gear. When in use, it grants a 44% chance to multiply the Embers monsters drop by x2. Of course, if you're a beginner in Torchlight Infinite, this will not be your primary concern, but as you progress, Embers will be important.
Furthermore, if you manage to upgrade the Tolerant Trait Card, you can increase the drop chance to 80%, which is on the higher side.
