Trove Sunfest event 2024: Everything you need to know

The annual Trove Sunfest event for 2024 goes live on July 9th. The update will launch via PC and will celebrate the summer as well as Trove's 9th anniversary for the entire month. The event is supposed to be filled with sweet treats, a 10-step questline, returning cake themed dungeons, and more.

This year's Sunfest event sees the return of Delves from last year. They have been adjusted so that generic bosses do not appear in them. You will find the Chuck Pinzo boss in every third tier of the Delve. On all other tiers, you will either find Triceratops bosses or someone else.

With the Sunfest event coming out, you can enjoy the sugary goodness of cake-themed dungeons which were designed by both the developers and the community. You can earn Cake Coins by defeating cake dungeons, which can be exchanged for event rewards. The dungeons have the chance to drop a new boat in addition to the ally and two mounts that already exist.

You can also face new enemies in these Cake Dungeons. On defeating these enemies, you can get tradable versions of the collections that are crafted at the Sunfest Oven.

Here is a list of what you can expect from this year's Sunfest update:

• Let the Adventure Begin: With this update, you can start a new 10-step storyline where you can meet the new NPCs and clear Cake Dungeons all over Trove. Not just this, you can also earn a new Pinzo’s Incredibly Charismatic Smile Hat Style.
• New Leaderboards: You can compete against other Trovians with the new leaderboard system. This leaderboard has been added to track other players completing Sunfest Delves, Sunfest Dailies, Sunfest Cake Dungeons, and more. You can earn 'Mysterious Trophy Case: Events Edition' if you can be one of the top players in these new leaderboards.
• Dungeons and Desserts: This year's Sunfest sees the return of the Cake-themed Dungeons that have been designed by both developers and the community. You have the chance to earn Cake Coins and various other rewards for defeating these dungeons.
• Oven Fresh: The Sunfest Oven also returns for this year's Sunfest Event. You can get the new collections and decorations featured in this event from here. You can also craft the Dormant Worldspring Dragon Egg at the Sunfest Oven.
