One of many seasonal weapons that came with Destiny 2 Echoes, Veiled Threat is a Stasis Auto Rifle that fires at 720 rounds per minute. Players can find this weapon from Failsafe at the HELM, or via the episodic activities released with Echoes. In any case, Veiled Threat isn't the most popular weapon in the current sandbox due to its low base damage and range.

However, it serves as a great catalyst for Stasis abilities and Fragments, especially with perks such as Headstone, Strategist, and more. This article lists the best perks for the Veiled Threat Auto Rifle for PvE and PvP.

Here is a list of perks recommended on the Veiled Threat Auto Rifle in PvE:

  • Fluted Barrel for increased Stability and Handling.
  • Flared Magwell for increased Stability and Reload Speed.
  • Threat Detector for increased Stability, Handling, and Reload Speed when enemies are nearby.
  • Headstone for summoning a Stasis glacier with precision kills.

This Auto Rifle is meant for mob clearing in most cases, and it can get the job done, damage-wise. However, there's another way you can use this weapon to your advantage - by equipping utility-based perks on the columns.

Strategist can come in handy for regenerating Class ability energy in fights, alongside Headstone.

How to get Veiled Threat in Destiny 2?

Veiled Threat can be acquired from Failsafe's inventory at the HELM. It requires 4 Echoes Engram and 3000 Glimmer. Each week, you can get a guaranteed red-border version of the weapon from Failsafe. Apart from this, seasonal activities such as Echoes Battleground, Encore Exotic mission, or Arena Breach Executable have a random chance to drop this Auto Rifle.
