VS Velocity Baton is one of the four new weapons from Destiny 2 Vesper's Host loot pool. These new Legendary Dungeon gear pieces are getting praise for their prowess and utility, as all four come with a uniqueness that caters to the current sandbox. The VS Velocity Baton is an Area Denial Framed Grenade Launcher and is only the second weapon with the archetype.

The following perks are recommended on the VS Velocity Baton Grenade Launcher for Destiny 2 PvE:

Quick Launch for increased Velocity and Handling
High-velocity rounds for increased projectile speed
Repulsor Brace for getting an overshield after defeating void-debuffed enemies
Destabilizing Rounds for a Void explosion on kill and spreading Volatile debuff to adjacent targets

You can also go for Demolitionist in the third column for Grenade energy or Unrelenting for health regeneration. Reverberation is a great utility perk to increase the detonation size upon kills.

The following perks are recommended on the VS Velocity Baton Grenade Launcher for Destiny 2 PvP:

Linear Compensator for increased Stability, Blast Radius, and Velocity
High-velocity rounds for increased projectile speed
Unrelenting for health regeneration after defeating a Guardian
High Ground for increased damage after kills. The stack of increased damage is granted upon attacking from higher ground

Adagio is a great damage perk to have as well, alongside Slickdraw for a significant increase in Handling.

How to get VS Velocity Baton in Destiny 2

The VS Velocity Baton Grenade Launcher can be farmed from the first encounter of Vesper's Host Dungeon, alongside the final boss.

Since this is a new Dungeon, any gear piece can be farmed countless times from its respective encounter. However, the drops can be any one of the six Legendary loots available within the pool.
