The F-84F Thunderstreak is a strike aircraft in War Thunder. It is a mid-tier subsonic jet that you can find in the American air tree, as well as the French, Italian, and German air trees. All four models are identical to each other, with the same performance and the same secondary weapons. Although it has a decent load of ground attack weapons, the performance leaves a lot to be desired.
This article will explain everything you need to know about the F-84F in this free-to-play vehicle combat MMO.
War Thunder: How to get the F-84F?
The F-84F can be found in the American, German, French, and Italian tech trees. It is a regular researchable vehicle in the strike aircraft line of each tech tree.
Although it is Rank V in the American tech tree, it sits at Rank VI in the three other tech trees. However, the Battle Rating is 8.3 for all four. The American version gets an air spawn, but the other three get a ground spawn.

War Thunder: What are the stats of the F-84F?
The F-84F has decent acceleration at the start, but it drops around 700 km/h. It is quite heavy and is not best suited for dogfights as it has a pretty bad nose authority. The aircraft also does not have access to any air-to-air missiles.
When it comes to ground attack role, it can carry 250 lb, 500 lb, 1000 lb, and 2000 lb unguided bombs, as well as HVAR and Mighty Mouse rockets. It also has access to incendiary bombs, which are useful for bombing bases in Air Battles. It has a Ballistic Computer for its cannons and bombs, but not for the rockets.

Pros and Cons of the F-84F
The following are the pros and cons of the F-84F Thunderstreak in War Thunder.
Pros:
- Good selection of ground attack ordinances for the BR it is in.
- Ballistic Computer for cannons and bombs.
- Good high-speed roll rate.
- Low compression at high speeds.
Cons:
- Bad nose authority.
- Low acceleration after 700 km/h.
- Unwieldy at low speeds.

The F-84F is made for ground attack roles and is not suitable for air combat. It can obviously be flown as a fighter, but most other planes you will face will outperform it.
