Warframe: Harmony build guide

Harmony is the latest addition to Warframe's Scythe weapon subclass, and it has already made itself known as one of the strongest. This weapon is supposed to be an angelic counterpart to Hate - but the goal of a good Harmony build is to disintegrate enemies in one heavy swing, all the same.

In this Harmony build guide, we will go over its unique gimmick, and how you can leverage it in an optimal mod setup.

Harmony buff and unique trait, explained

Harmony's unique trait is 'Harmonic Resonance':

"Heavy Attacks condense all Status Effects that deal damage over time into a single instance. Heavy Attack kills activate Harmonic Resonance, a buff that increases Status Duration by 30% for allies."

This is comparable to the Expedite Suffering Helminth ability, except you get it for free on your melee. Note that heavy attacks from Scythe stance itself force-procs Slash, which will be instantly enhanced by the 30% extra Status Duration.

Activating it alongside the unique buffs from Evensong and Cantare will extend the status duration to 60%, which is excellent if your squadmate is running a Warframe like Saryn.

More importantly, this also means DoTs such as Electricity, Slash, Heat, or Gas will deal 60% more instant damage due to Harmony's unique trait.

This Harmony build thrives on light attacks with a high-status chance to proc Slash and Electricity. You also have 90% Heavy Attack Efficiency on top, which lets you go for a combo-stacking build while still making use of heavy attacks now and then.

Mods used

  • Stance: Reaping Spiral
  • Exilus: Opportunity's Reach
  • Reflex Coil
  • Blood Rush
  • Weeping Wounds
  • Focus Energy
  • Primed Reach
  • Buzz Kill
  • Amalgam Organ Shatter
  • Primed Pressure Point

Consider making the following alterations to this Harmony build depending on the situation:

  • If you want to only heavy attack with Tennokai, you can switch Reflex Coil with Lasting Sting Instead. This will cost one additional Forma to fit in.
  • Against the Corpus, a Gas build would fare much better. Ditch Focus Energy and Buzz Kill, and go for Virulent Scourge and Molten Impact instead.
  • The new Melee Elementalist Mod can also be used instead of Reflex Coil.

Arcanes

Melee Influence is the natural choice with this Electricity+Slash setup, but if you are going for Heat, an alternative is Melee Affliction, a new Arcane added with the Jade Shadows update.

If you are using Melee Affliction, make sure to use the normal attack or block attack to proc lift on the enemies.

Warframe Harmony build for Heavy-attack spamming (5-Forma)

This Harmony build is similar to the last one in terms of Forma cost, but it has five V-polarities. If you are specifically spamming the Heavy, there is also not much use for Arcanes here.

The best-case scenario for this build is pairing it up with Kullervo for the complete room-clearing package. Also note that this build thrives off the forced Slash proc from heavy attack, meaning it is weak against the Corpus.
