Laetum was the second-most used secondary in Warframe going by its 2023 stats, and it's not so far off today. This handgun-cum-bullet-hose is hands down one of the best solutions you can get if your problem is tough VIP targets like Demolishers or Acolytes. It's also a must-get if you're trying to get into the Steel Path.
In this guide, we'll go over all that you need to unlock and craft the Laetum in Warframe.
Where to get Laetum in Warframe
Unlike many other weapons in Warframe, Laetum cannot be purchased for Platinum. Instead, you will have to acquire its blueprint from Cavalero, the weapon vendor in Chrysalith (hub area in Zariman Ten-Zero). If you do not have access to this area yet, progress the main questline till you clear the Angels of the Zariman quest.
Afterward, you can purchase the Laetum blueprint right away for 3000 Standing with The Holdfasts. It does not require any faction grinding, and you need just a couple of missions to get the Standing.
If you're wondering how to get the Standing, you have to turn in Voidplumes at Archmedian Yonta. Avoid turning in Voidplume Quills and Pinions, since it is required for crafting the weapon.
The Laetum blueprint is also tradable, so you can get it via trading from other players. This does not require you to clear the Angels in the Zariman questline, but you'll still need to complete it to craft the weapon.
What's required to craft Laetum in Warframe?
Laetum requires the following components to craft:
- 1 Voidplume Pinion
- 5 Voidplume Quills
- 20 Voidgel Orbs
- 4000 Ferrite
Voidplume Quills spawn all over Zariman missions, and you can get a lot of them if anyone in your party has the Orokin Eye Air Support power. Meanwhile, Voidplume Pinions have to be obtained by defeating dormant Void Angels (not Ravenous Void Angels).
All challenges to activate Laetum's Incarnon Talents in Warframe
All Incarnon weapons need to have their Evolution Talents unlocked through specific challenges, and Laetum is no exception. Here are all the Talents, and the challenge to unlock each tier of Evolution:
That's all your Incarnon Talents unlocked. You can now stick an Orokin Catalyst, and get going with a good Laetum build.
