Kuva Nukor is Warframe's most popular secondary weapon right now for several good reasons. For one, a proper Kuva Nukor build is the perfect Swiss knife for a mid-game player to transition into tougher end-game content and deeper Steel Path runs. With just minor build alterations, you can build it to prime your targets with status effects or be a DPS weapon unto itself.

To lean into Kuva Nukor's status-priming knack, you should mod as many elements as you can. Kuva Nukor itself is base Radiation damage. This is why, for this Kuva Nukor build guide, we are going with the only other hybrid progenitor available: Magnetic damage.

The following Waframes can get you the Magnetic progenitor:

• Citrin
• Lavos
• Mag
• Harrow
• Hydroid
• Xaku
• Mesa
• Yareli

An alternate option would be Impact. With Impact and the Hemorrhage mod, you would essentially sacrifice a mod slot to get Impact+Slash on a weapon that otherwise would not have physical damage.

Kuva Nukor, like all Kuva weapons, boasts enhanced stats over the original Nukor - which is a separate weapon with its own Riven Disposition. As such, Kuva Nukor is a high-status-chance sidearm that fires a beam that can chain to two more enemies after the first one. Curiously, this chaining also works if you shoot a dead body.

Unbeknownst to many, the Kuva variant of the Grineer microwave handgun also retains the ability to inflate body parts that it hits. This property is mostly cosmetic, but it looks hilarious on giant targets like Thumpers.

Warframe: End-game Kuva Nukor build for Primer and DPS (5-Forma)

For this Kuva Nukor build, we build for Viral and Heat on top of the base Radiation and Magnetic. The Heat damage has higher weightage here for higher proc priority. However, you can also use the high +Heat to use Kuva Nukor as a heat-inherit primer built for other weapons or abilities.

Mods used:

• Galvanized Diffusion
• Galvanized Shot
• Primed faction damage multiplier mod
• Lethal Torrent
• Elemental combo setup (Frostbite + Pistol Pestilence + Scorch)

Other good elemental combos you can play around with are:

• Viral + Electricity
• Corrosive + Heat
• Corrosive + Cold
• Gas + Electricity
• Gas + Cold

However, in cases where the combo does not involve Heat damage, you may need to replace the Primed Heated Charge with a different mod. Depending on what you want out of your Kuva Nukor build, you can go for two Arcanes: Secondary Merciless for killing, or Secondary Encumbrance for priming.
