Xoris is ridiculously strong for a freebie you can get just from doing a sidequest in Warframe. The ease of acquisition may have played a part in making Xoris the most-used Melee weapon in the game last year, but its potential speaks for its reputation. In this guide, we will go over how to unlock this potential with an end-game Xoris build.

You get a free copy of this weapon during the Deadlock Protocol mission. However, if you have sold the Xoris, the only way to get additional copies is from Cephalon Simiaris. In total, a set of Xoris will cost you 145,000 Cephalon Simaris standing.

If you are a mid-game or early-game player who just got Xoris, you will not have the goods needed to make this an end-game beast. However, you can still get some good mileage out of a budget Xoris build.

The primary point of Xoris is its infinite combo duration, so even on a budget build, your best bet is to use combo-scaling mods like Blood Rush. If you do not want to farm these mods off Necralisk bounties, you can get them cheaply from other players via trading.

An endgame Xoris build is a natural contender for one of the best Melee Influence users. This Arcane triggers upon Electricity procs, which Xoris does naturally as part of its repertoire. Add the infinite combo duration, and you have a recipe for clearing out Steel Path mobs.

Amalgam Organ Shatter
Weeping Wounds
Primed Smite Grineer (can be replaced with a Melee Elementalist mod)
Power Throw

This Xoris build needs some timing from you to hit its power ceiling. You will have to get used to triggering heavy attacks during the Tennokai cues, as well as the rhythm of chaining Glaive throws to benefit from Power Throw. If you become adept at these mechanics, Xoris can become one of the best weapons for channeling the scaling potential of Melee Influence.

Due to its high usage, Xoris has a low Riven Disposition - so we do not recommend investing in a Riven for it.
