How was 2024 for Pantheon Rise of the Fallen?
2024 was a remarkable year for Pantheon Rise of the Fallen, and it all started in February with the introduction of the Seasons. This gave Champion-tier players two full weeks of play each season, while Supporter-tier players got a week. This gave the devs more insight and a blueprint for their eventual live service debut.
By March, the team launched Season 2, featuring the Mad Run overland dungeon, the first major content update since the game's initial phases. Fast forward to July, the devs made the bold decision to aim for Early Access in December. While it was a big risk, the team was up for the challenge and met their target on time.
On December 13, nearly 11 years after the team started developing Pantheon in one of the member’s garages, the game's Early Access officially launched on Steam. Over 30,000 player accounts were created, and the player base has continued to grow since. With 6 zones, 6 races, and 12 classes already in the game, Pantheon is thriving, and it has the potential to be the next big thing in the MMORPG genre.
