The best stash tabs in Path of Exile offer the most value for your money. If you're an avid player you'll end up finding yourself out of space quickly with the default space you're given. That's why it can be a good investment to buy a couple of extra tabs, especially if they're on sale. Some of these, however, are better to buy others if you haven't gotten any before.

Path of Exile is an ARPG known for throwing copious amounts of different kinds of loot at the player. This loot is so plentiful in fact, that players go to great lengths to design their custom filters that will make anything they don't want to pick up invisible. With the release of Path of Exile 3.25, players will be seeing more loot than ever, so having enough space in your personal bank will be vital.

The best stash tabs to invest in may differ some if you're a seasoned player or do certain kinds of content heavily. Generally, however, the most efficient and cost-effective tabs will always be the same for players who have yet to buy any. So if you're finding yourself low on space and willing to purchase more, then these are the ones you'll want to go with.

Currency Tab

A currency stash tab should always be your first pick when looking to buy. These tabs hold up to 5000 of many different currencies that you can collect while playing Path of Exile. The reason this is the first that you should get is because of how important it is that you do not have to trash the currency you find. Gear or weapons can be more easily dealt with than currencies when running low on space.

This will especially be important in Path of Exile Settlers of Kalguur, there will be a new currency added to the game.

Map Tab

Buying a map tab is going to be the second most important of your options. This purchasable option will give you space for 72 different maps of any type. We recommend this as highly as similar to the currency tab, you never want to find yourself having to choose which valuable map to throw out.

Fragment Tab

This Path of Exile tab will give you space specifically for map fragments, as opposed to maps themselves. You will have an extra 5000 spaces in this tab that can hold only these fragments. This is an important option as fragments can be used to not only craft maps but also upgrade them to high quality in a map device. However, these fragments are still less important than actual maps.

Quad Tab

This enormous storage option will give you four times the amount of space as a normal one. This is the least important of the options we recommend but one we still suggest to get if you can. Having one of these will massively increase the amount of loot you can store in your bank, meaning you won't have to decide what to keep or toss as often.
