For now, we have gathered everything we know about Sea of Thieves Season 13 in the article below.

Sea of Thieves Season 13 is set to release on Thursday, July 25, 2024. This was announced in a minute-long trailer titled - "Become a Villain." The Sea of Thieves wiki provides a bit more clarity regarding what players may expect with Season 13. Once pirates are able to defeat Flameheart's ship, they will be able to take over the ship and embody the villain role in the server. The game wiki entry also mentions two more interesting facts:
- The flagship is equipped with 10 cannons and a "front-facing double fire-ball launcher." It also has four ladders and seven sails across three masts.
- Once you defeat the ship and take it over, an "NPC skeleton crew will assist."
Apart from this world event, Rare will reportedly bring map changes where Reaper's Bones will take over islands and excavate for artifacts. This was teased by The Orb, a mysterious object, with the stated locations being: Barnacle Cay, Lagoon of Whispers, Shiver Retreat, Picaroon Palms, Blind Man's Lagoon, and Lookout Point.
