Polluted Water is one of the resources in Once Human. You need it to farm Acid, which is then used to craft various other things like Gunpowder, Batteries, and Ingots. Polluted Water can also be used as a Stardust source by using a Stardust Water Pump. You have to find suitable places to get Polluted Water, but it may take a while since the water type varies from place to place.
In this article, we will talk about the various locations where you can get Polluted Water in this free-to-play survival MMO.
Once Human Polluted Water locations: A resource map
In order to get Polluted Water in Once Human, you have to go to a contaminated water source near a corruption zone. Once you get to there, your backpack will start glowing, depending on the amount of contamination around you.
Polluted Water can be found in various places, but those where you can get the most are Chalk Peak, Broken Delta, Iron River, and Red Sands. There are three places in Red Sands where you can find Polluted Water, which are close to Evergreen, Blackfell, and the Alternate Reality Research Institute.
How to collect and use Polluted Water in Once Human
After you have entered a polluted area, you need to find a water source to collect Polluted Water in that region. Once you find the water source, you have to move your territory and place it next to the water source.
Doing this is important because you need to put water pumps into the source and connect the pumps to the tanks on your territory. These items are a Tier 3 unlock in the Once Human's Memetics tree, and when you place them, they automatically start collecting the Polluted Water.
Once you have started collecting the Polluted Water, you need to put them in an Osmosis Water Purifier. This will start the purification process and you will get Pure Water and Impure Acid from it. You then need to put the Impure Acid into a Brewing Barrel, which will then turn it into Pure Acid.
As mentioned earlier, you need to have Acid in your inventory to craft items such as Gunpowder, Ingots, and Batteries. So, building a passive Acid farm like this will help you a lot, as you won't have to go and kill enemies whenever you need the resource for crafting.
