The WoW 20th Anniversary event has been great, but farming Bronze Celebration tokens has been a miserable experience. In a way, the numbers made sense - who wants to unlock everything right away? However, the developers went too far in the other direction. At the time of writing, it takes entirely too long to farm these Bronze Celebration Tokens. If you want the new cosmetics or mounts, it’s going to take a serious grind. However, that’s going to change once the server reset hits.
The next WoW hotfix on October 29, 2024, will make Bronze Celebration Token gains much better across a wide assortment of activities. Now, you’ll be able to pick up your Tier 2 armor or rare cosmetics without a seriously intense grind. Or at the very least, less of a grind than before.

WoW weekly reset to increase Bronze Celebration Token gain in a major way for Season 1 activities
The increase to Bronze Celebration Tokens in WoW is a major change and one that I’ve been really hoping would happen. Nothing’s more frustrating than seeing that the Tier 2 Armor sets cost 60 tokens a piece, when the average reward is 1-3 Bronze Celebration Tokens for Weekly Quests.
You can get a decent amount of them, but you have to do a lot of work to get them. However, that’s all going to change once today’s weekly reset takes place. According to Community Manager Linxy on the World of Warcraft forums, Season 1 activities will get a major buff to Bronze Celebration Tokens in WoW.
Instead of getting at most 3 tokens, some of these activities are going to increase from 10 to even 15 Bronze Celebration Tokens. Here’s what you can expect:
- Dornogal Weekly Quests (Worldsoul, Archive, Delve): 10 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
- Bonus Holiday Quests (Timewalking, World Quests, Arena, Battleground, Dungeon, Delve): 10 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
- Zone Activity Weeklies (Awakening the Machine, Spread the Light, Snuffling, Azj’Kahet Pacts, Theater Troupe): 8 Bronze Celebration Tokens each.
- Special Assignment World Quests: 8 Bronze Celebration Tokens each/2 per week.
- 11.0 World Boss: 8 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
- Queen Ansurek: 15 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
- Conquest/Rated PvP Weekly: 15 Bronze Celebration Tokens.
- Honor, War Mode, and Brawl Weeklies: 8 Bronze Celebration Tokens each.
Instead of having to potentially grind for weeks, depending on your in-game availability, these changes will let WoW players pick up the cosmetics and items they want without having to stress about fitting in week after week of activities. These could also change again in the future, but these numbers are solid and will make picking up limited-time rewards much easier.
