WoW The War Within players are once again farming Titan Disc Fragments for their weekly quest, Archives Seeking History. This means there are several ways you can farm these, and, depending on what sort of content you prefer to do, there are easier ways. We’re going to highlight the absolute best ways for us when it comes to farming these. It shouldn’t take more than an hour or so to get them all if the spawns are good.
Similar to the first Titan Disc Fragments quest, Archives: The First Disc, you’re tasked with slaying things in WoW The War Within to recover these. The rewards are worthwhile: 46g, and an epic Pinnacle Cache. This can contain gear, keys, and much more. Here’s how to breeze through this weekly quest.

How to easily farm Titan Disc Fragments for Archives Seeking History in WoW The War Within
To get 50 Titan Disc Fragments right away in WoW The War Within for Archives Seeking History, fight the World Boss. This week, it’s Orta in the City of Threads (Azj-Kahet). You can find them at the coordinates (/way 18.0 33.0) while in the City of Threads proper. I got very lucky and he was almost dead as I flew in. Just kill this and you’ll get half of the required Disc Fragments right away.
However, do not fight this in a raid group. Otherwise, you won’t get the Disc Fragment. We aren’t sure why this doesn’t occur, but it’s safer to just not do it.
The next best task is to grind through Delves - all tier levels give 31-36 Titan Disc Fragments. We recommend combining this with farming Profaned Tinderboxes. Just grind those Tier 1 Delves in Hallowfall, to try and make lots of gold at the same time.
Next is Dungeons and Rares. You get 15 Titan Disc Fragments per boss kill in a Dungeon, and 10 Disc Fragments for killing a Rare. You can also do Follower Dungeons if you prefer, to boot.
Frankly, I think soloing Delves is faster, especially if you just do the Tier 1 version. Dungeons are worth it as well, because you only need roughly two Dungeons to wrap things up after fighting the world boss, but it really depends on what you’re trying to do in the game.
If you want some better heroic-level gear, Dungeons might be the play. If you’re just trying to get this done as fast as possible, go with Level 1 Delves.
