WoW The War Within: How to use the Warband Bank anywhere

Warband Bank WoW War Within

WoW The War Within’s Warband gives you access to a Warband Bank, making it easier than ever to share important items across a selection of characters. However, if you want to access the bank anywhere in the World (of Warcraft), you’ll need to undergo a brief, but important, quest chain. The quest for this will likely pop up immediately if you log in on one of your Warband characters.

Thankfully, you only need to complete this quest once. Once your game is updated to the current WoW The War Within Pre-Patch, you can complete the Warband Bank quest. Completing this quest chain will make sure you can activate your Bank anywhere in the game. However, it is on a two-hour cooldown, so ensure you get done with everything you need.

Successful completion of the Warband Bank quest chain in WoW The War Within gives you access to a new spell: Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor. It’s a fancy way of saying you can access the collection of items anywhere you go. This is all thanks to powerful Goblin engineering, as far as the in-game lore goes.

When you log in to WoW on one of your Warband party members, you should get a quest that pops up for the Warband bank. It will task you with meeting a Warband down in Gadgetzan. For many players, the fastest way of getting there will be to head to Stormwind or Orgrimmar, and take the Caverns of Time portal in the portal room. Then, fly over to the NPC, where you’ll see the purple triangle quest marker.

Complete this, to unlock two more quests: Warbands: Space Ghosts by the Coast and Warbands: Rift Reader. The first quest will need you to kill nearby ghosts, and collect 8 Spectral Essence. The second requires you to close a series of rifts in the same area. The hardest part is the Spectral Essence. This is not a guaranteed drop, with many people likely doing it at the same time. Just throw whatever spells/attacks you can to tag mobs and get credit.

After finishing these, you can take on the next part of the WoW The War Within Warband Bank quest chain. She’ll give you Warbands: Twinsposition. Head to the area marked on the map, and you’ll see a fancy gadget, and likely an enemy to fight. This is an evil twin you have to slay. In my experience, I didn’t have to interact with the gadget - the enemy spawned within a few moments. You may have to click on it, though.

Return, complete this quest, and get Warbands: Spacetime is Money. For the final step, you will head to the Gadgetzan bank and click on an ethereal item on the floor. It might be obfuscated because of all the people around, but aim the camera down and you should have little trouble clicking on it.

Doing this will allow you to finish the quest chain ahead of WoW The War Within and gain the Warband Bank Distance Inhibitor spell. However, at the time of writing, the Warband Bank appears to be glitched. You may not be able to access it this way, but the developers are working on it.
