After a few months of anticipation from many a Tenno, Xaku Prime is finally coming to Warframe on November 13, 2024. One would have guessed it was going to happen around the Halloween window, as Xaku's design fits the spooky occasion. The release date of November 13, however, was a surprise reveal today on Devstream 182, where the Warframe developer team also discussed the Infested Liches, a central feature of the upcoming Warframe 1999 update.

Xaku Prime was originally expected to drop sometime in Summer 2024 after Gauss Prime, following the release order. However, this was hijacked by Sevagoth Prime, which launched alongside the Lotus Eaters mini-update.

The Xaku Prime bundle includes an upgrade to one of Warframe's best primaries

Despite a near-universal level of usefulness in all endurance-based content, Xaku is not among the most popular frames. His Primed variant's release next month will likely be the welcome boost that will do him justice, but there's another horse likely to win the race: Trumna Prime.

A powerful Entrati automatic rifle, one can easily build Trumna to be one of Warframe's most powerful primaries. The Trumna Prime will be a boost to its already respectable stats, and it will retain the unique alt-fire mechanic to ensure scalability deep into high-level Steel Path runs.

All in all, the new Primed gear coming with this bundle are Xaku Prime, Trumna Prime, and Quassus Prime. For those who outright purchase the Prime Access Bundle with real money, here are the exclusive cosmetics revealed for this one:

  • Necra Prime suit: A torso cosmetic for Operator/Drifter, with a headgear to fit the style. As expected of Xaku and Trumna's Entrati roots, this cosmetic will make your Operator/Drifter invoke the Necraloid aesthetics.
  • Artifex Prime Syandana: An upgraded regal take on the existing Artifex Syandana.

Those who don't want to spend real money can, of course, farm Xaku Prime the old-fashioned F2P way. A new series of Void Relics will hit the shelves on November 13, 2024, so don't forget to stock up on neutral Syndicate standing to buy out Relic Packs.
