It’s his only Cup Series win to date, but he has come close on a few other occasions, most notably at the 2022 Food City Dirt Race at Bristol, in which he spun out while attempting to make the last lap, last corner pass on then leader Tyler Reddick. Briscoe began his NASCAR career in 2017 in the Truck Series, with Brad Keselowski Racing. He scored a single win, at the season’s final race at Homestead and was crowned as the Rookie of the Year. Briscoe, who was then a part of Ford’s driver development program, was then promoted to the Xfinity Series for 2018 - making starts in a majority of the season’s races with Roush Fenway Racing & Stewart-Haas Racing. This was then followed by two full-time Xfinity Series campaigns with Stewart-Haas Racing in the #98 car. Briscoe managed to rack up 11 wins with SHR, with a staggering 9-win season in 2020 - which led to his promotion to the Cup Series with the team.
