Christopher Bell reportedly started his racing career in the early 2000s, racing at the I-44 Riverside Speedway. He made his first breakthrough in 2010 earning the Lucas Oil ASCS2 Championship before going to win the 2011 66 Mike Phillips Memorial micro-sprint car race. He kept moving up and racing his way through different championships in the upcoming years. He started driving in USAC in 2013 replacing Kyle Larson at Keith Kunz Motorsports. Bell ended the 2013 season as a champion in the USAC National Midget racing series.

Christopher Bell created history in his early racing career in 2017. He won the Chili Bowl Nationals in 2017 becoming the first Oklahoman driver to claim victory since 1994. He kept dominating the race for 2018-2019 seasons becoming the first and only three-time winner of the race. Bell started his NASCAR career by joining the NASCAR K&N Pro Series West in 2015 driving for Bill McAnally Racing. He made his debut in the Truck Series with Kyle Busch Motorsports at the 2015 American Ethanol 200 race held on Iowa Speedway.
