Erik Benjamin Jones is a professional American stock car racing driver. He is a native of Byron, Michigan in the United States. Jones was born on May 30, 1996 and is 28 years old, as of August 2024. Erik Jones races for Legacy Motor Club driving their no.43 Toyota Camry XSE. He is a driver from Toyota Driver Development programme and spent his entire career with Toyota until 2021. He returned to Toyota’s NASCAR programme in 2023, when Legacy Motor Club switched to Toyota cars in their Cup Series programme. Erik Jones has been racing in the Cup Series for 9 years.

Erik Jones has started 267 races, as of August 2024, in NASCAR Cup Series. He has claimed 89 Top-10s and 3 victories in the series. Jones’ first victory in the Cup Series came in the the 2015 Cup Series season, which was also his best season in the series.
