AJ Allmendinger's wife, Tara Allmendinger, recently shared a post on social media, where she called out the shocking reality of the United States. Reacting to the situation, Tara shared a video with a two-word message on Instagram.
A health advocate, Tara Allmendinger is quite active on social media. Her recent posts on Instagram are a testament to that as she raised questions about America's food habits, and how it affected an average person's health over the years.
Tara shared the video of Jennifer Sierzant, a renowned naturopath on her story. It contained one of Courtney Swan's Realfoodology podcast videos, where the former explained how she found out that their food had been tainted by dangerous chemicals.
She uploaded the 'alarming' video on the story, which had a two-worded caption:
"Wake up!!"
Here's a screengrab of Tara Allmendinger's Instagram story:
In the video, Courtney Swan, the host of the Realfoodology podcast said:
"I bounced around between specialists with no clarity for two years, until 2011, when I was diagnosed with a gluten intolerance. I was also at the time, I was also told to avoid corn and soy. which are common food sensitivities amongst my generation. Unfortunately, my story is not unique.
“Clueless to how this was connected to our food system, I started to do some digging. What I found was alarming. Our current agriculture system origin story involves large chemical companies, not farmers, chemists. 85% of the food that you’re consuming started from a patented seed sold by a chemical corporation that was responsible for creating Agent Orange in the Vietnam War."
Besides being a health advocate, Tara Allmendinger is also a social media influencer and an entrepreneur. She was crowned Mrs. North Carolina in 2021 and competed in the Mrs. America pageant.
Tara Allmendinger called for immediate attention as American food received bans in countries
NASCAR Xfinity Series driver AJ Allmendinger's wife, Tara Allmendinger, called for immediate attention back in November after numerous American food companies received country-wide bans. She took to her official Instagram account, where she called for healthier choices among American citizens.
Tara Allmendinger shared a post on her Instagram that read:
"Wake up America your food is banned in 30 countries."
Notably, some popular packed food items from the United States were banned in multiple countries because of the presence of certain ingredients, such as trans fats. However, the FDA, the organization that regulates food safety, has been at the receiving end for failing to address these issues.
AJ Allmendinger and Tara Meador met each other at the Indy 500 in 2015. Four years later, they tied the knot in December 2019, and last month, they celebrated their fourth wedding anniversary. They have a son together, named Aero James Allmendinger.
