Daniel Suarez married his longtime girlfriend Julia Piquet on July 30 in her hometown of Brasilia, Brazil. The couple, who first crossed paths in 2012 and got engaged in November 2022, celebrated their union starting on Sunday, July 28.
The festivities started with a cocktail party thrown by the bride's father, Formula One champion Nelson Piquet, and continued for several days, enveloped by the warmth of friends and family.
But the wedding celebrations actually began as early as May 10, with Julia's friends throwing her a bachelorette party, marking the unofficial start of the wedding celebrations. Throughout all the events, she was a sight to behold, stunning in every outfit she wore. At her bachelorette party, she went all out with a chic white ensemble: a mini frock dress complemented by white wedges, a white hair bow, white floral earrings, white nail polish, nude lipstick and a pop of color with a pink clutch.
Next up, during the welcome party, Piquet stunned in an off-white wedding gown by BRONX AND BANCO, which she noted in her IG post had arrived just three days before her departure to Brazil. She paired the dress with platform sandals, wore her hair down, chose nude brown lipstick and sported a statement ring.
For the rehearsal dinner, Piquet stepped out in a satin white strappy backless gown, pulling her hair into a sleek bun and accessorizing with small earrings, nude peach brown lipstick, a stylish bracelet on one wrist and a ring on the other.
On her wedding day, Suarez’s bride looked radiant in a white floral gown complemented by a long veil, freely flowing hair, tinted nude brown lips and glowing skin.
At the after-party, Piquet switched to a more laid-back, yet elegant feathery off-white dress adorned with pearls at the neck and waist. She rounded off the look with nude nail polish and peach nude lipstick.
Julia Piquet's heartfelt congratulation to Daniel Suarez on his NASCAR Brazil Series win
After tying the knot with Julia Piquet on Tuesday, July 30, Daniel Suarez clinched victories in the first two races of the NASCAR Brazil Series.
His initial win was rescinded due to a penalty, but he triumphed in the second race. The races formed Stage 5 of the 2024 NASCAR Brazil Series schedule, setting the stage for the season finale in November.
Suarez nabbed the win in the second of three scheduled NASCAR Brazil races, bouncing back from the earlier hiccup. During the weekend's Race 2 in São Paulo, Brazil, Suarez crossed the finish line first. Initially, he came in second but was elevated to winner after a penalty was levied against Lucas Mendes.
In the wake of this victory, his wife took to Instagram to express her pride. Sharing a photo of Suarez celebrating his win, Piquet captioned it:
"So proud of you," paired with a white heart.
The victory has brought Suarez one step closer to becoming the only driver to win in NASCAR across Mexico, Brazil and all three major U.S. series.
