Julia Piquet, Daniel Suarez's partner, was recently spotted donning a chic ZARA outfit during the 2024 Grant Park 165 event in Chicago, Illinois. Piquet got engaged to the Trackhouse Racing driver Suarez in 2022 and the couple is set to tie the knot later this month.

The 2016 Xfinity Series champion Suarez became the first Mexican driver to win a NASCAR national championship and Cup Series race. He recently performed a double during the Chicago street race schedule, where the 32-year-old finished P27 and P11 in the Xfinity and Cup races respectively. His fiance, Julia Piquet, also accompanied Suarez for the street race.

Piquet is the daughter of three-time F1 champion, Nelson Piquet. She recently shared a glimpse of her outfit on her Instagram handle where she has over 31,000 followers. She wore an olive green ribbed midi dress from ZARA for the Chicago Cup Series event.

#99 Suarez and Piquet are often spotted during the former's racing events. She also made an appearance donning an all-white outfit during the race in the Windy City.

Piquet described her outfit's specifics on a social media platform for influencers called LTK. The white Del Knit top she wore was from Cult Gaia and the high-rise straight pants were from Agolde. She also wore simple but stylish Revolve white sneakers with rectangle-frame sunglasses from FARFETCH as an accessory.

Meanwhile, #99 Suarez is gearing up for the upcoming NASCAR playoffs. He has already confirmed his berth by winning a three-wide photo finish race earlier this season at Atlanta Motor Speedway. However, the Mexican believes that there is still work to do.

Daniel Suarez believes there is scope for improvement for the #99 Chevy team

Daniel Suarez now competes full-time for Trackhouse Racing in the Cup Series, piloting the #99 Chevy. Before his move to NASCAR's top division, Suarez competed in the Xfinity Series and won the 2016 Xfinity Series Championship with Joe Gibbs Racing.

Currently, Suarez is in his eighth season in the Cup Series. In over 269 races, he garnered two wins and 62 top-tens. His last win was in the 2024 Ambetter Health 400 in Atlanta, where he secured a playoff spot for the 2024 NASCAR campaign. However, Suarez believes there is still scope for improvement despite having secured a playoff spot. He said (via motorsport.com):

"I feel like we have work to do, to be honest. I believe that if the playoffs were to start tomorrow, I think we would really change the mindset and the way we’ve been doing things, trying different things and the way we’ve been calling some races."
"We just have to be a little bit more consistent. We’re going to miss it at some races. We’re not going to have a great car every single weekend. But the weekends that we miss, we cannot miss by a lot," Suarez added.

As NASCAR heads towards The Great American Getaway 400 at Pocono Raceway, Suarez sits P18 in the overall Cup Series standings. He has accumulated one win, two top-five, and three top-ten finishes after 20 starts.
